Piramal Foundation
Established in 2005, the Ajay G. Piramal Foundation is committed to indentifying and supporting scalable solutions to pressing social challenges. The Foundation has helped initiate and grow youth-engagement organizations such as Teach For India, the Gandhi Fellowship, and the Grassroots Development Laboratory; Further, the foundation has seeded several social enterprises including Sarvajal, Piramal E-Swasthya, Source for Change, MobileNaukri, and the Bagar Employment Initiative. The Piramal Foundation also partners with IIM-Ahmedabad to offer a bi-annual prize that encourages disruptive innovation in healthcare (the Piramal Prize for Innovations that Democratize Healthcare).
