Role Description
The Manager - Business Development will focus on improving per unit revenue by assisting franchisees in developing growth-oriented strategies, creating training materials and programs for village entrepreneurs, forging partnerships with others who can create further revenue through Sarvajal’s franchise channel, and developing opportunities to improve capacity utilization of Sarvajal’s distributed filtration equipment. This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess Sarvajal’s potential to improve revenue at unit levels
- Evaluate and implement opportunities for multi and master franchise solutions
- Forge partnerships and evaluate potential products that can leverage Sarvajal’s distribution channel
- Develop training materials and programs to improve individual franchisee performance
- Deliver, evaluate, and improve regular trainings for franchisees and operators
Qualifications
- A college degree in a field related to business and/or relevant experience is a plus
- Demonstrated capacity to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Passion for small-scale entrepreneurship
- Willingness to serve as a mentor/teacher to numerous constituents
- A working/conversational knowledge of Hindi is required
- Dedication to the mission of the organization
Logistics
- This role is based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat in India
- A/C and internet access may not be available on a continuous basis
- Travel into villages with periods of stay will be required
